Meet Dr. Nichols
Education & Training
Dr. Anthony Nichols is a Facial Plastic Surgeon from Mississauga, Ontario. He finished first in his class in the Physics program at McMaster before obtaining his medical degree from the University of Toronto, where he achieved AOA status (top 5%).
He completed his surgical training, including residency in Head and Neck Surgery and an advanced fellowship in Facial Reconstruction at Harvard Medical School. While at Harvard, Dr. Nichols trained with world experts in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery — the very people who wrote the textbooks — to master the full spectrum of facial procedures, from facelifts and neck lifts to eyelid surgery, brow lifts, lip lifts, fat grafting, and laser treatments. He also received advanced cosmetic surgery training with world experts in both Canada and the United States.
Achievements
Since 2009, Dr. Nichols has served in the ENT department at the University of Western Ontario, where he is a Full Professor — the highest academic rank, and one he achieved as the youngest in his department’s history.
He has held key leadership roles, including Chief of Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Director of the Facial Reconstruction Fellowship. As a scientist, he has published over 160 papers, secured more than $12 million in research funding, and trained over 70 students.
